UNO Fandom Ken
65th Anniversary
UNO Premium extends the classic card game into a collectible format, blending licensed collaborations with elevated in-house design for adult fans and collectors.
For Ken’s 65th anniversary, we created his first-ever UNO deck, positioning him not as Barbie’s counterpart but as a cultural and fashion icon in his own right. The release reimagines UNO through a nostalgic yet contemporary lens, translating decades of Ken’s evolution into a cohesive visual system across cards, packaging, and gameplay.
The visual system draws from Ken’s 65-year history, transforming archival looks into a bold, color-driven card language. Each card represents a distinct era, using layered imagery, circular framing, and tonal palettes to create depth, storytelling, and collectibility. The result balances nostalgia with a modern, graphic execution, ensuring the deck feels both iconic and fresh within the UNO Premium line.
As Art Director, I defined the creative direction for the project, guiding it from concept through final production. I partnered closely with Creative Director Robert Best, as well as internal teams and licensors, to shape the visual narrative and execution.
I directed the design system, packaging, and photoshoot, collaborating with in-house photographers and stylists to produce assets for web, social, and retail. I also managed timelines and production workflows to ensure all deliverables were executed with precision and delivered on schedule.
